Since a mention is conspiciously missing from this list, I just wanted to sing the praises of what I think is possibly the strongest label of last year, Klang Electronics.. New Farben 12" hit the shelves a little while ago.. it's beautiful.. last one was even better.. Maus & Stolle rocked.. solo one was dope too.. The pink one with 'thing' written in big letters was sweet.. All the Remastered series give you a much needed reminder of how great Acid Jesus were/are.. its close relative Playhouse put out the absolutely stunning Isolee record, which wipes most other recent twelves off the map.. Also check out the Dodge label out of Germany for some somewhat splotchier, but none the less impressive releases.. anyhow, if you haven't already, go invest in some stuff on Klang, as you're definitely missing something without it... I wholeheartedly agree with Jamie. I love the Klang Elektronik Farben eps, Sikora eps, Maus & Stolle eps, and Carl Finlow/Il.ek.tro eps that came out this year.
